Our honey is the first urban rooftop bees in the state of Iowa. The bees are located in the Uptown Marion district on top of an 1870 two story building. Our girls (bees) have been in business almost 20 years and has always produced pure, unfiltered raw honey for those who value a genuine and natural ingredient in their diet. The girls (bees) always say: How do you know its pure honey if you don’t know the beekeeper?
Our barrel-aged maple syrup starts with pure Vermont Maple Syrup. The maple syrup is then aged in a charred oak whiskey or rye barrel. Our syrup is not just for the traditional pancakes and waffles but can be enjoyed on yogurt, cottages cheese, granola, ice cream, glazing for Salmon and caramelizing vegetables, just to name a few. I hope you enjoy this one of a kind barrel aged maple syrup.
